Yes, all Chicago Blackhawks practices are open to the public and free of charge. The Chicago Blackhawks practice schedule can be found at www.nhl.com/blackhawks/team/practice.

Fifth Third Arena offers a free parking lot for their customers. Parking spaces are limited, but street parking is also available. Please read the street parking signs for restrictions.

Yes. Public skating is offered on a regular basis 7 days a week, but times and days may vary. Please call the Front Desk at 312-455-7600 for updated days and times or click here to visit our Public Skate page.

Yes. Fifth Third Arena offers Rat Hockey Mondays through Fridays in the afternoon as well as six morning sessions a week. Please visit the Rat Hockey - Stick and Puck Page for a detailed schedule and more information. 

Rat Hockey is offered daily. Drop-in cost is $12 per player and goalies are free. For updated times and dates, please see the Rat Hockey Page.

Yes. Hockey skates range in size from child size 8 to adult size 13. Fifth Third Arena does not rent figure skates. Skate rental cost is $5 per pair, or a 10-punch pass for $30.00.

There is no pro shop within the facility, but basic needs are sold at the front desk, including hockey tape, skate laces, mouth guards and neck guards. Skate sharpening is also available.

Fifth Third Arena does not currently offer figure skating specific programs, however freestyle drop-in ice times are available. The facility is open daily from 6 a.m.-2 a.m. Schedules are subject to change; please see specific program pages for more information.

Buses may drop off and load up on West Jackson Boulevard parallel to the main entrance. Bus parking is not available on site, but overflow lots may be available depending on date and time. Please contact the front desk at 312-455-7600 for more information.

Yes. Fifth Third Arena offers beginner/learn-to-play programs for kids ages 3-8. Our facility also partners with other ice rinks in the Chicagoland area that offers programs for all ages and skill levels.
