FIFTH THIRD ARENA IS LOCATED AT:

PARKING
Parking in the main lot at the rink is reserved for Fifth Third Arena clients. Parking is not allowed in the rink lot for Blackhawks games or for other stadium events. Visitors to the facility should be prepared to tell the security guard in the parking lot which user group they are with to gain access to the lot.
Fifth Third Arena is excited to announce that the “L Lot” located at the northeast corner of the intersection of Jackson Blvd. and Wood St is now available to rink customers. This lot is now available to Fifth Third Arena customers Monday-Friday after 4:00pm and on weekends from 7:00am to 10:00pm. If parking in this lot during a United Center event, you will need to notify the attendant that you are a customer of Fifth Third Arena.
There is street parking located along Ogden Avenue, Wood Street, the south side of Jackson Boulevard and the north side of Van Buren Street. There is also parking available with restrictions along Adams Street.
Please note that the Malcolm X parking structure across the street is NOT available for public parking and Fifth Third Arena guests are discouraged from parking there.
DIRECTIONS
To get to Fifth Third Arena:From the North: Take I-90 East to the Ogden Avenue exit. Proceed south on Ogden, and make a right onto Jackson Boulevard. The building will be on your left.
From the South: Take I-55 North to the Damen Avenue exit and make a left, going northbound. Make a right onto Jackson Boulevard, and the building will be on your right.
From the East: Take Madison Street west from the Loop.
From the West: Take I-290 East to Exit 28A (Damen Avenue). Take Damen north to Jackson Boulevard. Make a right onto Jackson, and the building will be on your right.
NEAR WEST SIDE
The Near West Side, one of the 77 community areas of Chicago, is located west of the Chicago River and adjacent to the Loop. The history of the Near West Side of Chicago includes the founding of Hull House, a prominent settlement house. The area is home to the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC), the United Center and the Illinois Medical District. This area of the city has several bars and restaurants and borders other neighborhoods including the West Loop and Illinois Medical District. UNITED CENTER
In 1988, William Wirtz, owner of the Chicago Blackhawks, and Jerry Reinsdorf, majority owner and Team Chairman of the Chicago Bulls, formed a partnership to create an arena that would take sports and entertainment into the 21st century.
The United Center, home to the Chicago Blackhawks and Chicago Bulls, is the largest indoor arena in the United States. Construction began in April 1992, and the ribbon-cutting ceremony was held on August 18, 1994.
The United Center has hosted over 40 million guests since opening in 1994.
